The up and coming exhibition hosts the artwork of two local surfers Tamlin Dobrich and Miranda Mitchell, who each brings a unique style to surf inspired art. Tamlin’s urban style images are influences by her lifestyle of surfing and skateboarding. Her art is a her downtime which she especially values now as she is busy as the new face for West Suits and is a current finalist for Miss Universe 2013. My custom made helmet I use for swimming in the larger waves now incorporates art from Fieldey, the once plain coloured helmet has been returned with an incredible piece of art, might just put it on the wall and for go the extreme rigours of the ocean – when it does make an appearance I would like to apologise in advance to other photographers but hopefully 99% of the time it will just be me floating around enjoying the serenity.
